Museum Het Prinsenhof Delft, along the Oude Delft canal, has a collection of paintings, Delft pottery, gobelins and silver. The complex that houses the museum was founded as the St. Agatha Monastery and was later the residence of William of Orange.
He was murdered here on the 10th of July 1584; the bullet holes in the wall still bear witness to this. The murderer was publicly executed on the Market.

Hij werd hier op 10 juli 1584 vermoord; de kogelgaten in de muur getuigen hiervan nog steeds. De moordenaar werd publiekelijk geëxecuteerd op de Markt.
In het museum zijn drie iconen uit vijf eeuwen Nederlandse geschiedenis te zien: Willem van Oranje, Delftse Meesters en Delfts Blauw.
Een bijzondere plaats is de tuin van het Prinsenhof museum. Een stilte plek in de drukke stad vlak bij het centraal station en weg van voorbijrazend verkeer. Men kan tot rust komen en uitrusten op de Delfts blauwe zitbank.
