Our Private Tours Holland by Hans Langh

Bruges, Ghent, and Antwerp Tour: Private two-day tour of Holland and Belgium.

Fairy tale like Bruges.

During our two-day Holland and Belgium Tour, we’ll start by visiting all the highlights of Holland on your list. Then, we’ll explore Flanders, including the picturesque cities of Bruges, Ghent, and Antwerp. The drive from Amsterdam to Bruges takes three hours, and it’s worth spending a night in Bruges. We’ll do a Bruges walking tour after arrival. The tour lasts at least two days, with each day being at least seven hours long. It is a small groups tour of max seven travellers.

    Antwerp:

Antwerp has character. With that in mind my Antwerp tour focuses on fashion, design, and music, not just diamonds, chocolate, and the big cathedral. Moreover, it stands out as a highlight of my Flanders private tour.

    Bruges:

Similarly, Bruges, often called the ‘Venice of the North’ like Amsterdam, is a top postcard destination. This picturesque city can be easily explored on foot, by horse-drawn carriage, or through a Bruges walking tour. In fact, highlights of my Holland and Belgium Tour include: the Basilica of the Holy Blood, Saint Salvator’s Cathedral, the Guild houses, cobblestone medieval squares and canals

    Ghent:

Additionally, Ghent is another highlight of our two-day Holland and Belgium Tour. The city boasts 297 bars, 50,000 students. A lively music scene with free concerts daily, and great secondhand shopping. Furthermore, Ghent holds the title of having the most heritage buildings in Belgium, complemented by futuristic contemporary architecture in its historic center.

    Flanders Fields:

For a more somber yet important part of history, Flanders Fields is a must-visit. Here, you can explore the historic battlefields where 500,000 young people from around the world lost their lives during World War I, known as ‘the war to end all wars’. Some key highlights of this small group tour include: • Tyne Cot Cemetery • Flanders Fields Museum in Ypres • The Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate Memorial
